This course covers a full year of Chemistry content and is aligned to MN State Academic Standards.
Science Writing: Introduction to the Interactive Science Notebook. This course focuses on familiarizing students with the thinking levels and writing styles they will need to successfully complete their interactive notebooks in science.
In this unit students will explore the principles of livestock nutrtion and the various types of digestive systems found in typical farm animals. This unit is part of an Animal Science course that is taught as an elective for high school students in grades 10,11 and 12. It is offered for both science and elective credit toward graduation.
This course will cover 10 units defining ethology, the ethologists who shaped the profession, and behaviors that define the behavior of wolves. Throughout the course, topics will include web research, review of video, a study of an ethogram and as your skills increase, behavioral observation and recording of wolf behavior featured on the International Wolf Center Youtube channel.
This course was developed by the International Wolf Center to promote awareness about wolves and foster an interest in learning more about them. During this course, you will become familiar with a variety of tools that researchers use to study wolves. Wolf research enables humans to better understand wolf behavior, ecology and conservation.

This class is specifically designed for students in grades 11 and 12 who have completed a science fair research project and want to communicate their results with judges and peers. However, the same principles apply to anyone who has a technical message to share.
