Many teachers have told me the single most frustrating thing about Moodle is knowing what to do with it once it has been installed. What does a course look like? ? What should go in a course? How can it be used? What is the difference between a resource and an activity? Of course there is the superb Moodle documentation wiki and the excellent forums at http://moodle.org/ but most people just want
A blog with Moodle resources, information, links, ideas, tutorials and more.
DFLPNG is just the best.
This is a template I created for beginners that has examples of what many of the Moodle activities and resources are as well as a zipped file of the course at the end.

It does not require an enrollment key and guests are welcome to copy the file and use it as they'd like.
This is a pretty good start to an Art History course. It needs some work to be a little more interactive so it would be nice if someone could edit and re-share, but it should save some people a lot of time.
Students read and respond to literature independently or in groups using blogs to facilitate the discussion. Kidblog.org is the resource used to implement classroom blogs.
